  • How much does it cost to share photos on PrestoShare?
  • Using PrestoShare is free, all you have to do is sign up.
  • Is it safe to use PrestoShare from a public computer?
  • PrestoShare uses cookies, which means that depending on the security settings of your browser, you can stay logged in after you close your browser. So if you’re using a shared or public computer, just remember to log out before you leave the site.
  • I forgot my password how do I get back into my account?
  • If you have forgot your password then you can retrieve your password via email here.
  • How do I change my password?
  • If you would like to change your password, please follow the following steps.
    1. Login to your account.
    2. In the top right corner of the screen you will see a link named Account Settings. Follow that link.
    3. Fill in the necessary elements of the form.
  • What are suppourted file types?
  • PrestoShare suppouts the follwing image file types:
    .jpg
    .JPEG
    .gif
    .png
    .bmp
  • What type of content is allowed on PrestoShare?
  • We do not allow copyright content, content which is depicting illegal acts, or other content which is blatently offensive.

    At PrestoShare we are trying to make it possible for everyone to be able to enjoy the site without worry. When uploading photos to PrestoShare please catagorize your album appropriatley. For more information on this you can refer to our types of albums section.
  • I deleted my images, can I get them back?
  • No. PrestoShare does not keep a backup copy of the images that you upload.
  • Why where my images deleted?

  • What are the different types of albums?
  • At PrestoShare we have three different types of albums. Each type has a specific purpose in creating a community that is safe for everyone.

    1. The first type of album is a standard public album. All albums which are created as public albums will be viewable to everyone. The content should reflect that principle. Any content which is deemed adult in nature in this category will be deleted with out notice.

    2. The second type of album is a private album. The private album is designed with a password protection system, so only those you share the password with will be able to view its contents.

    3. The third type of album is the NSFW album or Not Safe For Work album. This album type is designed to seperate any content which is adult in nature from the general public site.

    1. Click on Tools
    2. Click on Options 3. Click on Privacy tab
    4. Check ‘Accept cookies from sites’
    5. Save changes by clicking OK

    Internet Explorer 6 and 7
    1. Click on Tools
    2. Click on Internet Options
    3. Click the Privacy tab
    4. Drag the slider down to Medium
    5. Save changes by clicking OK

    Safari 1.0 and 2.0
    1. Choose Preferences
    2. Click Security
    3. Select Always or Only from sites you navigate to in the Accept Cookies selection box
    4. Save the settings
  • How do I enable JavaScript?
  • Internet Explorer 7.X
    1. Click on the 'Tools' button located in the upper right part of the screen (next to the gear icon)
    2. Select Internet Options.
    3. Click on the 'Security' tab
    4. Click on the 'Custom Level...' button.
    5. Set the option 'Active scripting' to 'Enable' and click OK.
    6. Click 'Yes'.
    7. Refresh the page.

    Internet Explorer 6.X

    1. Select 'Tools' from the top menu
    2. Choose 'Internet Options'
    3. Click on the 'Security' tab
    4. Click on 'Custom Level'
    5. Scroll down until you see section labled 'Scripting'
    6. Under 'Active Scripting', select 'Enable' and click OK

    Mozilla Firefox 1.5 and Firefox 2.X, and Flock
    1. Select Options from the Tools menu
    2. Click on Content
    3. Click on the check box "Enable JavaScript" and Click OK.
    4. Refresh the page.

    Apple Safari for Macintosh
    1. Select 'Safari' from the top menu
    2. Choose 'Preferences'
    3. Choose 'Security'
    4. Select the checkbox next to 'Enable JavaScript'
    5. Click Reload

    Opera 6.X, 7.X, 8.X, 9.X

    1. Click the Tools menu
    2. Select Preferences
    3. Click on the Advanced tab
    4. Click on the Content option
    5. Check the 'Enable JavaScript' checkbox
    6. Click the OK button
    7. Refresh the page.

    Netscape 7.X
    1. Select Preferences from the Edit menu.
    2. Click the arrow next to Advanced.
    3. Click Scripts & Plugins.
    4. Check Navigator beneath "Enable Javascript for".
    5. Click OK.
    6. Click Reload.

    AOL
    1. From the My AOL menu, click Preferences
    2. Click WWW
    3. From the Security tab, click Custom Level
    4. Scroll down to Active scripting
    5. Click Enable (or Prompt)
    6. Click OK.
    7. Close Preferences
  • What are the system requirements to use PrestoShare?
  • While there are no system requirments to run PrestoShare. We recommend you have the latest version of your web browser. You will need to enable cookies, as well as JavaScript, if they are not already enabled. You will also want to have the latest version of Macromedia's Flash plugin installed.
